Insert Clever Title

I’m running on low for clever titles for posts, you will have to use your own imagination…

Yet another week has come and gone, I’m constantly amazed at how fast time goes with my little one. It used to be that the weeks just dragged and dragged, but now it seems like they just fly right past me. I guess it really does do that when you are having fun. And I’m having the time of my life!

Most of last week was hum drum, though I am working on honing my clean the house and cooking skills and I’m doing much better. Josh and I have been working on goals and so I decided to do some for me as well. Pretty soon, I’ll have keeping the house clean down and then we can move on to exercising and getting ready every morning.

Friday the fun started. I went to Logan to attend my friend Emily’s wedding and luncheon. It was so beautiful and I’m so happy for her. Kathy was kind enough to watch Traegan so that he wouldn’t start screaming in the middle of the “I Do’s”. The rest of the day I hung out with my mom and then that night I went to THREE wedding receptions and one purse party with her and my sister. Fun times! I did get to see lots of old friends though and I’m so excited for all of the new husbands and wives!

On Saturday we went to Logan again for band practice and I hung out with Stacy while Josh was there. It was really fun to go shopping again with a friend. It feels like ages since I’ve done that! Jeremy and Julie both have birthdays this week so Saturday evening we got to go to Maddox with them, their girls, and Scott and Kathy. I really love family time.

That night we got some junk mail and it had stickers in it. Josh thought it would be fun to put them on Trae and somehow those were the only pictures I took this week!

Sunday we went to Logan again (does it ever get old? Not to me!) for Stacy and Mike’s baby blessing. Izzy looked so beautiful and Traegan was good just long enough for us to hear the actual blessing. Then he started screaming and we were forced to leave. I cannot express enough how excited I am that Stacy and I have baby’s the same age. I hope they will be great friends.

It Keeps Going & Going...

Yet another week has come and gone. Remember when I use to update my blog more than once a week? I do. I also don’t see that happening again any time soon.

Last Tuesday I went to Julie’s house to hang out and watch Design Star which she so graciously Tivoed for me. I had lots of fun and wished I could have stayed longer, but I had to go help my mom can and cut up about a million billion peaches. The picture below isn’t great of any of them, but it was a fun size comparison.

Kylie is almost 3 and half, Chloe is just over 4 months, and Trae is not quite 3 months.

And I love this of Chloe and Kylie

On Wednesday, I drove down to Ogden to get the medallions for the marathon from SymbolArts (my old place of work). Both times I have gone to show of my kid, my boss hasn’t been there. So we took pictures of him in her desk to tease her. I was loading the car when they took them and I think Trae was a little overwhelmed by the strangers and the camera.

Friday night Josh, Jeremy, and Scott went to the SV homecoming game. I decided to help with packet pick up for the marathon for as long as Trae would sleep. He slept the whole time and I got to help a lot.

Saturday we hung out at home and cleaned. At night Josh was having a little heart to heart with Trae and I found it adorable! (Don’t mind our bedding, it was all being washed).

And no dear dad, Trae doesn’t have red hair, it’s just the light.

On Sunday Traegan turned 3 months old. Where has the time gone, seriously? He is getting so big so fast and I just love him more and more everyday.

My baby's beautiful eyes-

I think he is starting to teeth because he is a little bucket of drool and loves to bite our fingers now.

In other news, he has now rolled from his back twice, but isn’t doing it consistently yet. The first time he did it was in the bath tub. He got a little too excited kicking and splashing and rolled right over. The look of shear terror and confusion on his face was priceless. I saved him though, don’t worry.

He also started sleeping in his own room in the big crib last night. He is doing much better with it than I am.

There is yet another installment of life in the Jones home. Come back next week for a brand new episode. (It’s late and I’m tired).

The Big 1-0-0

This is my 100th post. I love blogging, it has allowed me to keep in touch with so many friends I had lost touch with and it is such a great journal. I can’t even believe how many times I have looked back at it to remember something. Any way…

I love spending time with our families. It’s the best. This weekend we had all kinds of family time.

Friday night Josh had a concert in SLC. I didn’t want to leave Traegan for hours on end or be stuck with a fussy baby in the big city so I opted not to go. Sadly I don’t have any pictures of the show for this reason.

I spent the day with my family. My mom and I made jam and prepared a forty pound box of chicken. (Good sale on chicken at Smith’s). We went to my friend Emily’s bridal shower and watched Janece ride in the Nibley Parade for Miss Millville. It was Trae’s first parade experience.

He of course started out asleep…

But he woke up and actually watched the parade. I don’t know if he found it that interesting, but he loves to be outside and there was lots to look at.

Only in Utah do the missionaries get their own float in the parade. :)

After the parade we managed to capture the many faces of Traegan on film while my dad held him!

I also got to go see my Stacy friend (and her hubby and cute baby). And spent lots of time with my sister, which I don’t get to do that often because she is so busy. It was tons of fun!

Sunday morning, Traegan had a breakthrough! Up until recently toys have only been for staring at and sometimes not even that. But we put him in his bouncer while we were getting ready for church and he played with the hanging toys on the bar. He would swat at them and make noises and he had a ball. It was adorable.

At church he was poked at quite a lot and this made it impossible to sleep. He only got a short nap after church and then we headed to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Jones for more family fun.

I brought my camera, but didn’t manage to take ANY pictures because Trae hadn’t had a good nap all day and was having a mental breakdown the entire time. Sorry Jones family, he normally is a really happy baby. But we still had fun visiting and eating; Grandma Jones knows how to put on a feast!

And I took these pictures last week of my cute baby and his freakishly long eyelashes!

I {Heart} Labor Day

Man do I love three-day weekends. Or rather, having Josh around all day for three days. Friday evening we gave Trae a bath. (Just for the record, that isn’t out of the ordinary or anything, I just took pictures this time). He is starting to LOVE bath time. He is figuring out how to splash and thinks that is the best game ever. He is such a happy little bug.

Saturday I stuffed race packets for the marathon while Josh was at band practice and then we had a great evening at home. Sunday was church and then home for the day and Scott and Kathy came to visit on their way home from SLC. And it would have been a great weekend if it just ended there, but we still had Monday!

We decided to head to The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. We have been once before, but they have a new exhibit and we wanted to see it. They take your picture right when you walk in and even though it wasn’t stupendous I still bought it. I cannot resist pictures… They are currently fundraising for their new penguin exhibit and if you donate money they write your name on a little paper and hang it from the ceiling. Traegan found the massive black and white mobile much more fascinating than the camera!

The aquarium was really fun and Traegan actually enjoyed it. He would watch the fishes and stare at the lights in the tank. All was well and good until he had a minor blow out. Then he got a little sad. But we still had loads of fun!

Business Time

There is a lot going on around here again. Last Friday night, Josh had a concert @ Why Sound in Logan. Scott and Kathy watched Trae again so I could go, THANK YOU. It was a really fun concert and I took video of it so you all could see how great Josh’s band is. (Keep in mind that the sound quality isn’t the best. And I got a little excited and shook the camera because this is my favorite song)!

And one of Josh’s good buddies from his mission came! We heart Fieldy!

Saturday we came back up to Logan for Mirm’s baby shower. But before we did, Trae needed a bath and then needed to have his picture taken because he is adorable in his Winnie the Pooh towel.

After the shower we hung out with Jason and Noelle and boys and Scott and Kathy for a while. We also went out to dinner with my family that night.

This week has been filled with the usual. Nate came to visit us last night; which was fun. We love to have visitors!

And then, da da da da, something that has been a year in the making! I’ve been trying to get my own photography business up and going for a while now. But working full-time, then being too pregnant to move made it very difficult. Now is the time!

Please check out my new blog (there is a link in the top right hand corner). Feel free to leave me lots of comments and take a button to put on your blog. It would be much appreciated.

And that’s that!
