So Christmas… it was only like 3 weeks ago. I’m super on top of life lately, maybe I will post about that tomorrow. Anyway, here is our Christmas recap.
Well, first here is our Christmas card that we sent out. We didn’t do a letter and I kind of forgot about like half our people so don’t feel bad if you didn’t get one. :)
We had Josh’s side of the family Christmas on the Eve of Christmas Eve (December 23rd). It was a zoo. Because we walked into this…
Each little family got a car. They loved them. They climbed all over them and blasted the radio's and had way too much fun. (Luckily Scott & Kathy had the foresight to leave the batteries that make them drive out, so they were just stationary).
It did take Trae a while to warm up to it, mostly because he was sitting in his car all by himself. For a while, he was content to play little cars with Owen.
Eventually though, he realized just how hella-cool it was to have a red Mustang!
It especially helped when Sammie got in with him. Here are all of them in their cars. Those be some happy little kidlets!
Then we opened a bunch of presents, which Traegan was a big fan of. (Even though he kept sneaking off to sit in his car).
Either way, he was a pretty big fan of Christmas!
Since Julie's girls had all the boys in the drawbox, they all got matching pajamas. This was the best picture we could get.
We did my family’s Christmas on Christmas Eve afternoon. We have never had such an open schedule for our family party and it was super nice! Traegan got majorly spoiled and loved everything!
My dad spent many hours wrapping this... can you guess what it is?
It was quite the process to unwrap (and very fun for Josh). But Traegan was super happy with his present in the end!
And since I look super awesome in these pictures, I'm going to take this opportunity to remind you that I was 30 1/2 weeks pregnant in them.
Trae got this super cute monster bowling set... and he believes you bowl with your entire body.
But mostly he just loved his remote control Mater. Which he is surprisingly good at driving.
Christmas morning we got up and had a big yummy breakfast. With 9 am church, we decided it was child abuse to open presents and then leave before Traegan had a chance to play with them, so we waited until after church to do presents.
Traegan going through his stocking.
Trae got lots of presents, but he especially loved his little Star Wars dudes! He sat there and banged them together in the boxes still since I wouldn't open them. (He had more presents to open). Video below...

But then he opened his new Leap Frog game thing and spent the rest of the morning with that. It was very cute and he is super smart with it.

A little later, Scott and Kathy brought the little car to us. Traegan was very excited to see it again, until his dad put him in it (with the driving battery) and pushed the petal. Then this happened. He was then terrified of it.
(As a side note, we kept it in the house in the living room for about two weeks and he is finally sitting in it again).

Looks like fun Heather!
Okay, first off I just noticed the pregnancy ticker at the top of your blog says 33 WEEKS! Wahoo, I can't believe your getting so close!
If it makes you feel any better we found a four-wheeler for Paislee on an after Christmas sale. Same as Trae, when the batt was charged and it actually moved Paislee is TERRIFIED of it and she won't even go near it.
