So hello there. Just another update on our lives here. Yep, I know you can’t wait…
Friday was C-Lo’s birthday party so we headed over to Jeremy and Julie’s to see the little princess. She is a doll. I forgot to take a picture of her, well of any one really until late that night so I stole these first two pictures from Kathy.
My beautiful baby girl all dressed up. I finally had to quasi-make/refashion a Garanimals onesie to match this skirt because I was so in love with it. Cute right? (Again, thanks for the picture Kathy).
And here is my cute Traegan covered in frosting. (This and the next picture I stole from Julie. :)) Funny story? He ate all the frosting off his cake and then asked for more cake. I informed him he had more cake. He took my cake off my plate and ate more frosting.

And then Josh and I thoroughly wore out our welcome and stayed until late that night visiting with Jeremy and Julie. Meanwhile the kids watched My Little Ponies and Inspector Gadget all lined up like this. It was at this point I decided that I needed my camera. :)
Then on Sunday, it was Mother’s Day. Josh decided that we needed to celebrate by skipping church and heading up to Bear Lake for a picnic. I had kind of a rough week last week and so I was ALL over that. However, we only got to Logan before I felt like death so we decided to change up the plan to Willow Park.
It was busy day for a picnic in Willow Park, clearly we were not the only ones celebrating Mother’s Day. But it was still super fun. Lots of the animals were out and about and my heart about BURST when we came across the BABY EMU’s!
That’s right, baby Emu’s. There were 3 of them running around like little chickens and I was in love with them all. If you live in or near Logan… GO SEE THE BABY EMU’s!
After the jaunt through the zoo we turned Traegan loose on the playground for a while and he had a blast. He very much enjoyed his favorite playground attraction… the slide.
He thought long and hard about going on the big curly slide. He almost made it to the top, but then he looked down. He decided to slowly and carefully back his caboose back down.
At one point, he got sick of wearing his flip flops (an admittedly bad choice for footwear at a playground). So he took them off, but then didn’t like to walk flat footed on the bark. Apparently, walking on your toes also requires chicken arms and a puffed out chest. From then on, I called him baby Emu.
After some convincing he decided to try the swing.
And he loved that too.
Avonelle slept through literally the entire thing, waking up at the end just in time for me to get what I requested for Mother's Day...
A new picture of me and my babies. I love it and I love them!
